With everything from shooting to falconry and fishing, as well as an award-winning spa, three championship golf courses and Scotland’s only two Michelin-starred restaurant among so, so much more – there’s a little something for everyone.

The Balmoral, Rocco Forte
Opening its doors from 1 August, guests will once again be able to experience this legendary hotel. This Edwardian stone building is a landmark in Edinburgh’s skyline, beloved for its soaring 195-foot clock tower which famously runs three minutes fast, just to make sure you don’t miss your train. Expect signature Forte service, Michelin-starred dining and a world class whiskey bar, to name just a few of the many highlights.
TOP TIP: Venture out to the Scottish countryside on a private tour - we especially recommend visiting the spectacular surroundings of Loch Lomond by 4x4. And of course, there is also the renowned, resident only, Balmoral Golf Course waiting for you to tee off!
Set to reopen 1 August 2020
Archerfield House really is among Scotland’s finest five-star golf clubs, and for so many reasons. Beginning with the building itself, this beautiful mansion is bedecked with all of the old-world grandeur - think golden chandeliers, heavy embroidered drapes, individually decorated guestrooms and thick velvet sofas at every turn. The estate itself covers a huge 550 acres, meaning some of the private accommodation, cottages and lodges are set away from the main mansion and, on top of those two 18-hole golf courses onsite, there are also acres of wonderful flowerbeds, gardens and lawns to enjoy.
TOP TIP: For large families, The Boathouse sleeps up to 8 guests and includes private access to the beautiful beach. Start the log burner, open up the French doors and breathe in the fresh sea air.
